April already!!!

Well it seems like the month of March flew by.  Obviously it was not from NICE weather!!!  We started calving.  I think we only have 9 more to go!  We have a bottle calf and the boys have named him "Jake"  he comes to the door or on the deck or wherever we are when he is hungry.  If he is out in the yard and hears us pull in he runs to greet us. Even comes in the garage. He is just like a puppy but quite bit bigger.  In fact Justin and Joey love him but I think he intimidates them when he gets to kicking his heels.  Jacob ended the month by getting pneumonia again....  We found out he has Asthma.  He told me that he could hear out of 1 ear.  So I took to a local Dr. and found out he has pneumonia.  They informed us to go to the pediatrician when he gets all the medicines gone.  He is back to school but still gets out of breath.  Joey had a great follow up eye appointment from his head injury.  They said the eye looks great. To bring him back in  years. Now for Justin we have gotten potty train (for the most part!!), He went to 3 year old day at school and LOVED it.  He keeps asking when he gets to go back to school.  He is so full of energy loves to cook, clean and help do anything!!..  Jeremy has been hauling fuel NONSTOP!!  Which I guess it is good that I am home to check cows throughout the day.  My dad told him that they should hire another person and Jeremy told him no reason as long as Amy is home to check my cows.  Jeremy is very lucky to have a good boss that pays well. I am so glad Jeremy is a hard worker and realizes the more you work the more money you have.  WE LOVE OVERTIME HOURS!!!   We did sell our calves this week and very thankful that they sold well.  Joey, Justin and I went and watched the sale.  Justin had to get picked up a little early because he didn't like to sit.  Now Joey he knew our calves as soon as the came into the ring and he got right by the fence and stood there the whole time they sold.  Then he waved by to them and told he would miss them.  Then when they were done he said time to go get my check!!!!  Love my farm boys!!!
